Eight applicants are shortlisted for International Young Interactive Entrepreneur (IYIE) award 2010 Latvia final
In total for the International Young Interactive Entrepreneur award we received 15 applications. During the last two days IYIE award Jury was evaluating each and every application against certain set of IYIE Award criteria – entrepreneurial abilities, leadership potential to make positive changes within the sector, market awareness and understanding, creative abilities, originality of ideas, international outlook, evidences of innovative, unique, original and competitive entrepreneurship as well as other criteria.
The Jury made decision to select 8 applicants for the final whose applications were substantially stronger and corresponded the most to IYIE Award criteria.

On Wednesday, September 22nd IYXE award jury would expect you to come up with a 10 minutes long presentation in English which will be followed by 10 minutes long Q&A session with the judges.
The International Young Creative Entrepreneur (IYCE) awards were devised by the British Council’s Creative Economy Unit to celebrate the achievements and develop the potential of young creative entrepreneurs across the world.

In Latvia British Council has run two Award competitions so far: in 2006/07 International Young Mucic Entrepreneur award (won by Guna Zucika, Brainstorm international markets manager) and in 2008/09 International Young Communication Entrepreneur award won by Gatis Murnieks, alternative marketing pioneer in Latvia.
